Also known as methyl 1H-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate, original drug of fungicide carbendazim is brown powder and pure product is white crystalline crystal. Belongs to benzimidazole class structure and with systemic and protective effect, it can control crop diseases caused by fungi so it can be used for foliar spray, seed treatment and soil treatment. For application, 0.3-0.5% is mixed with seeds to control blast in potato. And 800 times solution can be used for leucodermia of cabbage and radish. In terms of yellow leaf disease of Chinese cabbage and radish, 12.5% efficiency solution is diluted with water to 200 to 300 times. 100 ml of this solution is irrigated for each plant at roots, 2 to 3 times is ok with the interval of 10 days.

For application of vegetables, fungicide carbendazim should stop five days before harvest and it can be used together with strong alkaline agents or copper pharmacy and rotated with other agents. With regard to drug-resistant area, the method of increasing dosage per unit area can't be adopted and the best strategy is to stop. When this product is used for soil treatment, sometimes efficacy is very low because it can be decomposed by bacteria in soil so some other methods can be adopted. Because of residue problem, the dose shouldn't be too much for safety reasons.
